There’s nothing quite like the joy of moving in a room full of strong women! We know you’ll feel right at home in our cozy University City studio. Class sizes are kept small so our teachers can monitor your form, give personalized cues and provide hands-on adjustments.

Which class type is best for you?

Our classes are leveled to fit every stage of motherhood. Forget the modification guessing game! You can expect exercises carefully chosen and leveled to meet the needs of your changing body. Check out our leveling system below to choose the class that’s best for you.

 
 

Level 1/2

Designed to carry you through the final months of pregnancy and ease you back into movement in the first few months after giving birth. This class format is a client favorite!

These classes move at a slower pace and give extra attention to breath work. A great place to start moving with us!

Baby Friendly Classes

These are all levels classes with non-mobile babies on board. Half of class is spent wearing your baby while the other half baby is lying on their own mini mat.

We know that babies are unpredictable and welcome you to bring and do what you need to throughout class to keep your little one happy!

Level 3

As in every level we maintain a mindful and controlled focus yet add challenging postures, increased reps and a quicker pace.

These classes move quickly and are made for our mamas that are further along postpartum or in their first trimester and looking for challenge.

All Levels

Our all levels classes are suitable for all stages of motherhood. In these classes each exercise is cued with every level so you can always find a variation that works for you.

This is our most common class type as it allows moms at all stages to move together!

After your first class each class is $25

When you come in for a class you can expect…

  • A feel good full body workout with exercise variations that allow you to take what you need, and leave what you don’t 

  • Highly trained instructors there to guide you through every aspect of class from signing in to your squat series. 

  • Welcoming studio environment that celebrates you and your body right where you are.

Every Materra Method Class Includes:

Keeping you injury free and feeling good is our top priority. We monitor form throughout class and educate you on what to look and feel for so you can keep moving safely throughout your pregnancy and postpartum.

Workshops

Workshops are the best way to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge base of exercising during pregnancy and postpartum.

Our workshops, taught by founder Abby Erker, teaches the foundations of Materra Method and takes a deep dive in how to prevent and manage common but not normal issues many moms face.

 Frequently asked questions

What if I can’t make the class I signed up for?

We know life happens! If you are unable to make your class time you can cancel your class on your own in your Acuity account. Cancel 12 hours or more before class and your class credit or payment will be returned to your account.

Do I need experience to come to class?

Not at all! We will walk you through everything you need to know when you get to class. If you have any questions before or after class please ask your instructor, they would love to help you!
